Please don't forget to visit the WFEG stall at the Countryside Fair. We want to get your ideas on which areas of the Village could be improved with attractive planting e.g. the bottom of Cappers Lane, the tarmac semi-circle at the top of Main Street, Burton Road grassy areas? Come and give us your ideas and fill in our questionnaire.
And once again we'll be offering spring bulbs at bargain prices - including alliums, snowdrops, cyclamen, crocus, daffodils and fritillaries. On top of which the zero waste shop - the Lichfield Pantry - will be with us offering a range of plastic-free goods, including cleaning materials, cosmetics and other items.
Fosseway Canal Section Tour - Saturday 7th September - 10:00am
Before coming along to the Countryside Fair you might like to know that at 10:00am, Lichfield Wildlife Group have organised an event where Peter Buck will be leading a tour of the Fosseway Heath section of the Lichfield Canal Restoration scheme.
Meet at the site entrance by the railway bridge at Falkland Road at 10am (there is some parking on site).
Donations to The Lichfield and Hatherton Canal Restoration Trust are requested.
