Many of you will know that we were expecting Alys Fowler back in late July but that she caught Covid a few days before the planned date and had to pull. Luckily she agreed to honour the commitment despite having moved to West Wales in the meantime and will be with us this coming Saturday (15th October) with her talk beginning at 4.15pm (doors open 3.45) - again in the Village Hall.
Alys will explain how to cultivate a rich and biodiverse edible garden that will attract wildlife, including important pollinators, while also providing wonderfully nourishing and home-grown crops. She will tell us how to raise perennial vegetables that come back year after year, with selected plants that hold their own in both the garden and on the plate. Including guiding us through the process of feeding our soil, designing the plot, saving seed and taking cuttings to increase supplies.
Entrance to the event is £2 for 16 and over; free for under 16s. Free hot drinks available.
