Village Food (and Owl!) Market - Saturday 15th July
It’s the July Whittington Village produce market this Saturday in the Bell Inn Car Park, 9.30am to 1pm - with great stalls as usual - Woodhouse Community farm, rare breed beef, sausages, pork and veg; St Giles Church preserves, fruit/veg and lots more, Kam the Curryman with yummy samosas, bhajis and curries, Cake, Rattle and Roll with delicious traybakes and cakes. A new feature this time will be Owls Galore - ornaments, tea cosies, pictures - you name it, they all have owls on them; perfect for lovers of this beautiful bird....
