Apple Day Special Market - Saturday 20th October
A reminder that the Parish will be celebrating Apple Day on Saturday 20th October in combination with the monthly food market at the Bell Inn Car Park, from 9.30am to 1pm. The wonderful Paul Hand from Bees 'n Trees will be providing entertainment for children on a 'pear' theme, we'll have apple pig making, best dressed apple competition, locally made organic apple juice, mulled cider, while the Ryknild Rabble Morris dancers will liven up proceedings with music, dance and colourful costumes.
We hate seeing apples go to waste so, as before, we will turn your surplus to delicious juice which we then share - you get half and WFEG will sell the remainder to raise funds for our work to improve the village environment. Apples should be of reasonable quality, eaters or cookers - if you would eat/cook with it we can juice it! Bring a container to take away juice.
